The synodal process of the Diocese of Saint-Jean-Longueuil is a response from Bishop Claude Hamelin, in solidarity with the management team to the initiative of Pope Francis.

The world is constantly changing, and the challenges that believers face are changing. The diocesan synodal approach allows the Church of Saint-Jean-Longueuil to adapt to these social developments, to respond to the spiritual needs of the faithful and remain relevant in contemporary society.

It is a process of listening and discernment deployed across the territory of our diocese, so that we can all be at the heart of change and actively participate in the renewal of our Church.
